Terms of Service

By using mapetex.com or requesting a quote you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Quotes and orders

• A quote or sample request is not an order. Each product has its own price per pound, quoted per order.
• A binding order exists only when Mape Textil S. de R. L. issues a proforma invoice confirming the product, specification, quantity, price, Incoterm and shipment terms.
• The minimum order is 1 container (approx. 45,000 lb).
• Prices may be negotiated by volume and recurring consumption and may change with market conditions until confirmed on a proforma invoice.
• Custom packaging, labeling or presentation may carry an additional charge, quoted separately.
• Lead times (normally approximately 7 to 15 days) are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the product, specification and production schedule.

Payment

• New customers pay the proforma invoice in full before the container ships.
• Credit terms may be offered to established customers, subject to approval and a separate written credit agreement. No credit is extended unless agreed in writing.

Shipping and delivery

• Orders ship by container from Honduras. The customer provides its freight forwarder or shipping line information and Mape Textil S. de R. L. receives the booking.
• The standard basis is FOB Honduras. The Incoterm and named place stated on the proforma invoice govern the transfer of costs and risk for that order. Other Incoterms apply only when stated on the proforma invoice.
• Mape Textil S. de R. L. provides a commercial invoice, packing list, shipping document, certificate of origin and the required Honduran export documentation.
• Inspect the shipment on arrival and note any damage with the carrier at delivery.

Returns and claims

Each order is inspected against the agreed specification before shipment. Report any quality claim to ana@mapetex.comwith the order number, photos and a description. Mape Textil S. de R. L. evaluates each claim individually and, where the claim is legitimate, works with the customer on a resolution, which may include a credit or a refund. Resolutions are decided case by case; there is no automatic refund. PLACEHOLDER: claim reporting window (e.g. within X days of arrival) to be confirmed

Product information

Wiping rags are cut from new, pre-consumer textile remnants. Piece size, weight, color and composition vary within a bale; composition percentages (for example, for white mixed rags) are approximate, not guaranteed. Product descriptions on the site are provided in good faith.

Website use

• Content on mapetex.com, including text and images, belongs to Mape Textil S. de R. L. and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
• Do not use the site or the quote form to send spam, malicious code, or false information.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mape Textil S. de R. L. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from any order, and its total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Governing law
