About Mape Textil
Mape Textil S. de R. L. is a Honduran textile recycler and manufacturer of industrial wiping rags, established in 2017 and located in the Inhdelva Este free trade zone in Choloma, Cortés. It turns new, pre-consumer cutting remnants from textile manufacturing (never used clothing) into white, colored and mixed wiping rags, and has exported them by the container to the United States, Mexico and Guatemala since 2020.
Who we are
Mape Textil S. de R. L. is a textile recycler and industrial wiping-rag manufacturer established in 2017. For 9 years we have turned the cutting remnants left over from textile and apparel manufacturing into wiping rags, and since 2020 we have exported them by the container to customers in United States, Mexico and Guatemala.
Our plant is in Edificio 35 (Building 35) of the Inhdelva Este free trade zone in Choloma, Cortés, one of the main textile manufacturing regions of Honduras. Operating inside a free trade zone supports our export operations.
Pre-consumer material, never used clothing
Every rag we sell is cut from new, pre-consumer textile remnants generated by maquila and textile manufacturing operations. None of it is used clothing. That is why we can guarantee that our finished wiping rags are free of buttons, zippers and other hard pieces that interfere with industrial wiping.
What we make
- New White Washed Jersey Wiping Rags (MPT-0005): 100% cotton white jersey, washed before cutting. The flagship white cotton wiping rag.
- New Color T-Shirt Wiping Rags (MPT-0002): 100% cotton colored T-shirt remnants. A cost-effective wiping rag for heavy grease and general cleanup.
- New White/Bleached Mixed Wiping Rags (MPT-0006): White and bleached mix of terry, rib and Lycra remnants. High volume, consistent supply.
- New White Terry Wiping Rags (MPT-0001): New white terry remnants. A thick, looped rag for high-absorbency wiping.
- New Exact Cut Knit Wiping Rags (MPT-0003): New knit remnants cut to more consistent dimensions than random-cut rags.
- New Unbleached Knit Wiping Rags (MPT-0004): New unbleached knit and cotton remnants in natural color.
Quality control
A dedicated quality inspection team audits every order against the customer specification before it ships. If a legitimate quality claim arises, we review the individual case and work directly with the customer on a resolution, which may include a credit or a refund depending on the circumstances.

Certifications and licensing
Mape Textil does not currently hold a third-party certification. Our environmental license is being processed with the Honduran authorities and has not yet been issued. We will update this page when it is.
